Adult, Professional, and Higher Education (APHE) Master’s of Education
The Adult, Professional, and Higher Education (APHE) Master’s of Education is a 30-credit hour program that has been preparing students to work in the field of adult education for over 25 years. Urban Education Ph.D. with Specialization in Adult, Continuing, and Higher Education (ACHE)
The field of Adult, Continuing, and Higher Education (ACHE) is a growing discipline as more adults return to learning in such diverse settings as community colleges, universities, professional education programs, training and development and workplace learning, and  health care delivery systems. The ACHE specialization is a non PreK-12 track designed to prepare students and working professionals for careers as practitioners in organizations or for faculty positions directly related to the delivery of educational services for adults. The ACHE specialization provides opportunities for students to engage in an enriched program of academic study grounded in the field of adult education and higher education scholarship, equipping the UEAE graduates with the knowledge and skills to apply cutting edge research to adult education research and practice in diverse contexts. Learn more. »


Certificate Program

Adult Learning and Development (ALD) Certificate Program
The Adult Learning and Development (ALD) Certificate Program is designed to provide present and future adult educators with the theories, competencies, and knowledge necessary to plan, teach, and administer programs for a diverse population of adult learners in a variety of settings. The ALD Certificate Program provides an avenue for meeting the continuing education requirements of professional adult educators. Additionally, this program presents a challenging, relevant course of study for adult educators who desire further education but not necessarily a degree. Learn more. »
