Meet Emma Smallwood. Emma is a student at the Levin College of Public Affairs and Education, pursuing an undergraduate degree in Language Arts and Adolescent/Young Adult Education Licensure. She is also employed as a Student Office Assistant in the Dean's Office at the Levin College. 

Emma says she chose her academic field because she is passionate about sharing her love of knowledge with students, and she finds it rewarding to help students learn and grow. After graduation she aspires to be a high school English teacher and help educate the next generation of students on the importance of literacy. 

“My favorite CSU memory has been the field experiences that I have completed through the CSUTeach program,” Emma shared. “I have thoroughly enjoyed my experiences working with local Cleveland schools and being mentored by professional teachers.”
