Department Overview
Health, and Human Performance(HHP) offers a variety of wellness, fitness, and physical activity courses for the general student population at Cleveland State. Undergraduate degree programs in HHP include Multiage Teaching Licensure in Physical Education. Health Licensure is also available as an additional teaching field. Allied Sport programs prepare Exercise/Fitness Specialists and Sports Managers. University minors are offered in dance, health education, or sports management. A School Nurse License is also available at the graduate level. Finally, HHP houses Master's degree programs in Community Health Education, Sports Management, and Exercise Science, as well as Curriculum and Instruction with specialization's in School Health Education, Human Performance, Sport and Exercise Psychology, and Physical Education Pedagogy.

The Fall 2013 HHP faculty and staff Journey to Wellness and Fitness for Life programs are now available! Come to our Open House on September 5th to learn more.
Now in its 38th year, our Fitness for Life program has a history of helping CSU faculty and staff maintain a healthier lifestyle with a combination of support, awareness, education, and yearly health testing.
CSU faculty and staff can participate in our Lunch-and-Learn and noontime activity programs and engage in a healthier lifestyle while earning VikeHealth points! New programs are offered every term.
