Center Overview

The College Advising Office (Education Student Services Center) mission is to provide accurate, timely & helpful academic & professional guidance and support to future, current and past CEHS students. The ESSC is located in Julka Hall 170.​​​​​​​

CEHS Spring 2021 Support Services​​​​​​​

Registration for the next academic year (fall 21 & spring 22) starts March 8th! 

Academic Advising:

All advising services are accessible remotely and the ESSC staff is available to help all CEHS students. Phone or Zoom appointments can be scheduled by calling (216) 687-4625 or through Starfish (undergraduate students only).​​​​​

Fingerprinting Services:

Fingerprinting Services are available Tuesday-Thursday in the ESSC.  Please note the process and availability of these services has changed and appropriate measures have been taken to accommodate COVID 19 health mandates. Visit our background check page for more information.

Field Placements:

Practicum & Student Teaching Application Deadlines

  • Jan 15-Feb 15 – Summer & Fall Placements
  • Aug 15-Sept 15 – Spring Placements

Graduation Application Deadlines

  • April  1 – Summer Graduation
  • May   1  – Fall Graduation
  • Nov  15 – Spring Graduation

Comprehensive Examinations (2020-2021)

  • Fall Semester-Oct 17, 2020
  • Spring Semester-Mar 20, 2021
  • Summer Semester-June 26, 2021

Current students can schedule an appointment online by logging into Campus and clicking the blue star on the student tab to schedule through Starfish.

Future Educators Club

If you are looking for an opportunity to collaborate and get know future educators check out the Future Educators Organization at CSU!
