STEMM Education SUPPORT AWARDS
CALL FOR PROPOSALS
The STEMM Education Support Awards (SESA) were established to promote activities that improve STEMM education at Cleveland State University and our on campus K-12 schools.
Individuals or teams of faculty, staff, or K-12 teachers whose proposal is aimed at supporting STEMM education related activities at CSU, MC2STEM High School, or Campus International School.
DETAILS OF AWARD
Maximum awards for full time faculty and staff at CSU are $1000.
Maximum awards for teachers from MC2STEM High School and Campus International School are $500
Application Due Date: December 1, 2017
Notification date: January 1, 2018
Final Report: May 31, 2018

Final Report: August 30, 2018
Application Due Date: August 1, 2018
Notification date: September 1, 2018
Final Report: December 31, 2018
A final report must be submitted to the STEMM EDUCATION Center no later than the above mentioned dates. The report should include the evaluations of the project. The report should also include a summary and critique of the project.
The application must be prepared using a 12-point or larger font, single-spaced, on 8 ½ x 11” paper with 1” margins and should consist of the following sections:
Section 1 Cover Page: The application cover page should include the following:
- Name of the proposal
- Name of the person submitting the proposal
- Semester you are requesting funding
Section 2 Project Description (Maximum 5 pages):
A: Description. Briefly explain how your proposal supports STEMM education. Outline the major goals and intended outcomes.
B: Provide an overview of your project that explains the significance of advancing STEMM education related activities.
C: Evaluation. Clearly outline how you will evaluate the success of your initiative.

CRITERIA The STEMM Education Center Advisory Board will evaluate SESA proposals.
