Meet your Instructor

Elliott Ingersoll

Elliott Ingersoll is professor and chair of Counseling, Adult Learning & Educational Administration. He is licensed as a psychologist and a clinical counselor in Ohio. He has authored/co-authored 8 books and over 30 articles and book chapters. His areas of expertise include psychopharmacology, psychopathology and helping clients with spiritual and religious issues. He has also worked with opioid dependence, trauma, and organizational consulting. His current research focuses on drug-assisted psychotherapy. He believes digital media are mesmerizing the planet's population and that the technologies were sent here by extra-terrestrials bent on using earth as a universal penal colony. Most people find it hard to talk to him for more than 10 minutes at a stretch.
